Radiant Tealight Candle Holders - Striking Memory Plaques - Comforting Pocket Plaques
Our Celtic ancestors knew that, like the oak tree, when a family grows deep roots and wide, connecting branches, they stay stable and strong.

Our Location
Celtic Engravings is located on the southern border of County Derry - Irish translation Doire (or Daire) meaning "The Oak Grove"

Our Home
Our home place is in the picturesque parish of Ballinderry - Irish translation Baile an Doire (or Baile an Daire) which means "Townland of the Oak Wood" Ballinderry is renowned for its premier trout fishing river of the same name that flows through fields and meadows to meet the scenic shores of Lough Neagh near by.

Close By
We are surrounded here by many reminders of Ireland's Celtic past, just a short distance up the road stands the famous "Old Cross of Ardboe" rising proudly on a hillside overlooking the mythical waters of the Lough. This imposing, hallowed monument sits next to the ruins of an ancient church within a quiet, atmospheric graveyard, a place where the spirits of our ancestors can still be sensed and where burials continue to this day.

The inspiring presence and mythical history of this ancient landmark are well-known, handed down through song & story and today shared globally online. This age-old cross reflects a deep connection to our Celtic heritage and greatly influences the designs of the engraved oak pieces we create at Celtic Engravings.
